Trash for Peace
in numbers
Trash is something we all have in common, and we believe that having safe and healthy ways to dispose of it is a human right. We also believe that having diverse voices at the table is essential to coming up with the community-based and creative solutions we need to create a circular and sustainable waste and recycling system.

We are more than an Environmental Organization
Creativity and Innovation
We say YES to every new and unique idea, and if it doesn’t work, we try something else.
Environmental Justice
Our programs are rooted in community, relationship-based, and co-created and led by those who are most affected by the inequities of our current systems.
Recycling and Waste Prevention
We believe we can create more circular systems that are efficient, effective, and equitable.
Creative experiences that encourage resilient communities
We work together to turn Trash into Peace
